Highton Hills House | Highton

This project references Palm Springs mid-century architecture through a low, horizontal roofline and a subtly curved brick entry, establishing a clear and deliberate street presence.

The sloping site is resolved through a tiered planning arrangement, stepping the program to follow the natural fall and allowing each level to engage with a distinct aspect of the landscape.

The primary living space is anchored by full-height glazing to the west, framing long views and reinforcing a strong connection between interior and horizon.

Materially, the palette is restrained and intentional. White-painted brick defines the external envelope—selected for its tonal clarity and cost efficiency—providing a consistent base for the form and allowing light, proportion, and outlook to take precedence
